Rehab of an iconic Palm Springs Alexander home which was victim to a 90’s remodel that muted the original intent of the architect. We did painstaking research, actually locating the original drawings and blueprints for the house. We restored it to its intended state while adding a few modern touches, like the front wall, gate and offset walkway, and the unpainted plywood kitchen cabinets (the original kitchen cabinets were painted plywood). We designed the beds and the closet/desks aka ‘clesks’.
